Tara can stun. Tara can defy. Tara can be full of humor, cynic or ironic, but with certainty he an not be indifferent. The world created by him represents a brutal protest to the daily realities, to what he named "Black Rumania". The bench-marks of an entire geographically space and of a politic context are integrated in the framework of the project. Everything what happens in this country became automatically subject, is fast sketched out and outlined, without stylizations and idealizations. We can spoke about a horror esthetics, about a supraevaluations of the motives and even about a way of idolatrisation of the social disease.

"Black Rumania" is an exhibition about peoples and places, about the black face of Romania, about misery, struggle and survival. Tara tries to explain and to justify this "Black Romania". Through the practices of a "neurothic realism", how the art critic Liviana Dan will say, Tara had choose for an "exhibition of gestures that wanted to be artistically".

Tara involves him and also he involved us.
