Saturday, May 14th 2011, between 08.00 p.m. and 02.00 a.m., the opening of the exhibition "Beasts and Superbeasts", signed by Soap Art Kollectiv (Suzana Dan & Raluca Arnăutu), curator Diana Dochia, shall take place at ANAID ART GALLERY. The exhibition is part of the European Museums Night 2011. The persons who are found of contemporary art will be able to visit the exhibition starting with May 14th until June 4th 2011.
Soap Art Kollectiv (Suzana Dan & Raluca Arnăutu) invites you to enter into a big size installation.
The installation "Beasts and Superbeasts" is a metaphor given to a magic place in which the impossible becomes possible, in which the doll that you hold in your arms becomes bigger than a house, a place where in the darkest corner of the room there is something and something happens. What? You will see shortly. Soap Art Kollectiv will incarnate the phantasms which buzz to its ears, and invite you to sit down nicely with them at the table, to enjoy a cup of tea and to make an elegant conversation.
Soap Art Kollectiv is represented by Raluca Arnăutu and Suzana Dan. Soap Art Kollectiv doesn’t make soap bubbles but artistic bedlam. And according to the dictionary definition, at the end of every story it promises that the story shall go on in the next episode too. Stay tuned!
