Saturday, 15th May 2010, between 08:00 p.m. – 02:00 a.m., in the framework of the Museums Night it will take place at ANAID ART GALLERY the opening of the exhibition „Micro/Macro” signed Ileana Dana Marinescu, curator Olivia Niţiş. The audience interested in contemporary art will be able to visit the exhibition from 15th May 2010 – 5th June 2010. "Micro/Macro" signed Ileana Dana Marinescu is an exhibition conceived like an installation through that the artist see the world through or under a magnifying glass. Mico/Macro is an esthetic play of some found objects undergo to a carefully analyze under the magnifying glass, that magnify or decrease. "Micro/Macro" builds a closer or faraway, big or small, distortion or twisted universe, in which the public carefully at the details seen through the magnifying glass, became putted himself under the magnifying glass and analyzed.
Of an overflowing imagination, making unusual association of objects and materials, at Ileana Dana Marinescu each remnant of the trivial quotidian is transformed in art. Showers hose, valves, glasses, cables, wire, perfume bottles and Glass Butterflies, many Glass Butterflies shapes a new poetic attitude that develops an originality of a new kind of privacy.
The installation exhibition "Micro/Macro" of the artist Ileana Dana Marinescu is radiography of the contemporary society through the trivial object reintegrated and reinterpreted in the framework of an artistic object.
