“I never dreamed that you’ll leave in the summer” is an exhibition about remembering and memories. To drop out to memories means to lose the vital substance, to became a vacuum devoid by personality. Thought to be seen in two shots, somehow different, “Aleea Valea Călugărească, No.34” Kuki Constantinescu and “Oana’s Garden” Dana Bălăneanu, the exhibition “I never dreamed that you’ll leave in the summer” represents a search of a lost time.

If Kuki Constantinescu have been remembering wistfully about the grey communist blocks of flat, that makes she to think to the childhood; Dana Bălăneanu is trying to escape from these context creating a parallel world, „Oana’s Garden”.

The exhibition project it was thought like an interactive play for the visitor. Dana Bălăneanu’s works should be seen through a camera objective, switched on the negative modus.
