Overview

Alexandru Rădvan is one of the intriguing artists from the Eastern European space. Born in Bucharest, Romania in 1977, he starts his artistic career at the end of the 1990s, after he finished his studies at the University of Art. The University of Art from Bucharest gives the modern and contemporary art such significant names as Constantin Brâncuşi, Victor Brauner, Andrei Cădere, Paul Neagu, Peter Jacobi, Florin Mitroi. During University years, Rădvan follows Florin Mitroi's painting classes, an artist with a very particular way of drawing and painting.

At the end of his studies, Rădvan became Mitroi's assistant at the painting department and, currently, he is a lecturer at the University of Art from Bucharest.
